The

Thee majority

majority of my adult life has been spent  in design, engineering, corporate training and marketing at both BFGoodrich and then American Honda. I escaped the corporate world after “too many years” and moved to Bend, Oregon and now have had the good fortune of finally pursuing a career that is also a passion. In addition to photography I write, play outdoors and share my life with my wife, Susan, and a very spoiled dog.

A great deal of my time is spent teaching digital photography and image editing at the Central Oregon Community College, the Cascade Center of Photography and through a series of independent photography workshops conducted in the field throughout Central Oregon.

My preference is not to be identified by a photographic specialty. I’m a visual communications problem solver. Subject matter is secondary. My work has been published in numerous magazines and books including a few covers. I provide commercial services and portrait work to a number of select clients and my fine art photographs have been part of many exhibitions.

About the Website…

My website is my electronic portfolio.  Images will be added and deleted on a regular basis.  The blog essays will provide serious photographers with different ways of looking at the world of photography and find a few tips I learned the hard way.  This is also the place to check out future workshops I will be teaching.
