Recently a friend wanted to retain my services to clean her camera.  We are talking the exterior of the camera and not the sensor (that’s another story).  I told her it’s easy if not a little time consuming and I have made 100 year old cameras look new with a little work.  I did not want to be paid.  I wanted her to learn to do it herself so I explained the process I use.  She urged me to write a paper on my process and she told me it’s not that easy if you have never done it.   So here goes… All maintenance that I do on any equipment starts with the least intrusive and easiest...
